Safety around pools is paramount
There are a huge range of options available. The critical thing is that they meet swimming pool fencing regulations.
Fences can range from glass that creates an uninterrupted view of the pool and beyond through to a wooden paling fence, which can act as a pool fence, a wind break and privacy screen.
The most commonly used type of fencing is powder coated aluminium. This is designed specifically for pool surrounds and measures just over 1.2m high to meet regulations and has matching self closing gates with correct latching systems.

Although the pool fencing will be inspected before the pool is signed off by the council, once the install is complete, it is the pool owners responsibility to ensure ongoing adherence to legislative standards at all times.
