Compass Pools began in 1980 in Australia when husband and wife team, Ian and Kerri Mewett started building the original range of Compass Pools.

Their desire was to build the best, safest family pools possible - pools they would be happy for their own family to enjoy, pools they would be happy to sell. They felt that this, together with an unshakeable belief in the importance of having a continuousr research and development program, of offering excellent value for money, maintaining first class quality control and giving great customer service would guarantee the future of the company. These are the Compass Pools goals.

The X-Trainer is the most popular pool in the Compass range. Although originally designed as a pool for 2 people to swim laps at the same time, this roomy pool has proven to be a great family pool as well, with plenty of room to sling a net for volley ball or just relax on a floating lounger. The X-Trainer has swim outs (shallow seating areas) on all four corners as well as a safety ledge running completely around the perimeter making this a great pool for both young and old.
